Taken in Pembrokeshire, awaiting the ferry out to Skomer Island. This was one of two old rusted winches for dragging the boats onto the beach. I liked the contrast of manmade and natural, the spirals and the circles.

Taken at a silo in the midst of the Illinois landscape, with massively sub-zero winds and temperatures. The place proved to be a great opportunity for playing with images and making abstracts.
